About the event
This weeks topic is self-esteem. Self-esteem is one’s overall sense of their own worth and value, influencing their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. This is important because health self-esteem is linked to mental health, well-being, confidence, and resilience, which allows one to pursue goals, handle challenges, and form positive relationships. The self-esteem you have of yourself shapes your beliefs about your abilities, your value, and your potential. Self-esteem is influenced by life experiences, your relationships, and the messages you receive from others. It can change over time, and it allows you to have a greater sense of control over your life and to find more happiness and fulfillment.
