This weeks topic is Preparing for crisis. It is imperative for emotional wellness to successfully prevent and cope with emotional crisis such as job loss, death of a loved one, relationship breakup, traumatic event, health issues, financial strain, stressors (job deadline, relocation, discrimination), as well as symptoms of intense anxiety, depression, mood swings, and social isolation. Common symptoms of crisis emotional and mental (anxiety, depression, hopelessness, anger, emotional numbness, self-harm), behavioral (isolation or risky behaviors-substance use), physical (difficulty sleeping, changes in appetite or weight, neglect of personal hygiene), functional (inability to perform daily tasks like getting out of be or going to work).
