Salisbury VAMC is proud to announce a new shuttle service, which will run in addition to the current valet services offered at the facility.
Service will begin on January 12, 2009. The new service consists of two 10 passenger vehicles which will operate Monday - Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.The shuttle service will run on a designated fixed route through all major parking lots.
Passengers will be dropped off and picked up at all major building and clinic entrances.
The shuttles are designed for easy access and exit, and have the ability to carry a limited number of wheelchairs and walkers. The medical center is planning on expanding the service with additional vehicles based on feedback from veterans and visitors.
