Veterans Services
Caring Services works with the Veterans Administration to provide a housing and treatment program for homeless veterans. The housing component of this program is called the Vet Safety Net and is a six month to one year program that is designed to help veterans access benefits, healthcare, substance use disorder treatment, and secure permanent housing.

Vet Safety Net
The Veterans Safety Net program is a veteran specific transitional housing program. This program provides a structured, therapeutic living environment for male veterans who are experiencing homelessness and are diagnosed with a substance use disorder. To participate, the veteran must meet the following criteria:

Veterans participating in the Vet Safety Net have access to the Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient Treatment programs offered by Caring Services. They will also work with a veterans specific case manager to set goals that will help secure permanent housing once they complete the Vet Safety Net. The Case Manager works diligently with each veteran to make sure they are connected with Veterans Administration and receiving all services and benefits they qualify for.
