Group housing gives every member the opportunity to learn to live in a family setting with responsibilities, governance, and structures. This allows individuals to begin learning the dynamics of living in a family setting and taking individual responsibility for choices to prepare them for re-entry into a self-sufficient life in the community without the use of mood-altering substances.
