Supported Living:

Independent housing is difficult for those in recovery when they have completed transitional housing programs due in part to poor credit histories and sometimes criminal records.  Usually financial resources and transportation opportunities are limited.  The Supported Living Program allows individuals to live in one of our 2 bedroom apartments with a higher level of independence while they work and pay rent and build their credit histories.  Clients in this program still have some structures and ongoing services but they have much greater freedom to make their own choices, accept responsibility, and learn from mistakes in a safer environment.  This is also a time when families can be reunited and learn to live together as family again provided that there is sufficient room for the family members.
