Treatment at this level is intended for those whose substance use disorder is hampering their ability to function professionally and in social roles but do not require a level of care as high as inpatient or residential treatment. In the intensive program you can expect to learn about tools and to practice skills that will help you achieve long-term sobriety. We will also help you explore some of the underlying causes of addiction through use of the following services: individual counseling, group counseling, family education, relapse prevention planning, life skills education, and crisis planning.
What is the schedule like?
One of the purposes of participating in the Intensive Outpatient Treatment program is to learn how to build structure and accountability into your daily life.
