National Recovery Month 2017
Join us in a community event during National Recovery Month in September 2017. The event will take place in High Point, NC on Sunday September 24, 2017. In keeping with the theme of SAMHSA’s 2017 National Recovery Month, the goal of the event is to “Strengthen Families and Communities” in the triad and foster connections to grow recovery supports.
The event will include activities that engage all ages, backgrounds, and connections to addiction recovery. Activities for children vary from a bounce house to face painting. For our older youth, a variety of photo booths and social media campaigns will be available. For adults, they will be able to dunk some of their favorite community figures in a dunking booth.
Food and drink will be available to all participants. Participants will be able to enjoy music, speakers, raffles, vendors, and RECOVERY RELAY GAMES that will build community teamwork and raise money to reinvest in local recovery efforts within the triad.
Admission is free. Relay registration is $5.00. Teams that raise the most donations will be eligible to win exciting prizes!
