only 2.33 million received some level of treatment.

Of the percentage who needed but did not
receive treatment, only 5.8% felt they needed it while 35.8% of that percentage made an effort
to access treatment but were unable to do so.

family abuse and violence, and criminal behavior.

Approximately 90% of incarcerated individuals
have a drug or alcohol problem.
