Project Cornerstone
Emerywood Baptist Church's Project Cornerstone is a church community partnership which was founded in 1994 by Jim Phelps and Jeff Alphin. It began as a youth mission then became church wide.

This year, the Project Cornerstone's project is helping Caring Services, Inc. renovate their newly aquired house at 105 Oakwood St.

This is a very old house, and we started the project by tearing out the insides of the house. We remodeled the rooms and made them habitable for the ladies in the program. The goal of Caring Services, Inc. was to have a home for the ladies like the one they have for the men at Arbordale.

We had quite a bit of work to do, and needed all the help we could get.

The community and the volunteers came through with flying colors and made this awsome project a reality.

A big thank-you to all who helped with this project!
